Concerts
We present concerts in Saltburn three or four times a year. Generally, our policy is to showcase artists from the North East and Yorkshire although we are not averse to feature those from elsewhere. As we run on a non profit basis we do need to keep costs within sensible boundaries so we do ask that any artists who contact us keep this in mind.
Our concerts will now be held at Saltburn Community Hall in the centre of Saltburn. Tickets for our concerts are priced at £8.00 in advance for members (up to 2 tickets) or £12.00 on the door for non-members. We operate on a not for profit basis in respect of our concerts but you can help us to break even by spreading the word to your friends and buying lots and lots of raffle tickets on the night! Tickets for our concerts can be purchased at Book Corner, Milton St. in Saltburn. Alternatively you can contact us by telephone or email (see the home page) to book tickets which can be paid for on the night of the show, or even better get them from the club on a Monday night at The Alexandra Vaults whilst enjoying the club atmosphere. You can buy online from WeGotTickets through the link below.
On Saturday November 8th we welcome Leather'o supported by local country duo John Brady & Les Snaith.

Leather’o is a high energy Alternative Celtic – Gypsy Band based in York. They play all acoustic, traditional instruments in venues from pubs to major festivals, extensively reworking tunes and songs from the Irish, Scottish and Eastern European traditions.

The band includes players with many years credits from musical theatre to festival, classical quartet to prog rock, as well as on the folk, Celtic and gypsy scene:
-
Angela Gordon – Vocals, Accordion, Flute, Celtic Whistles
-
Bob Ward – Guitar
-
Lindsey Woods – Trad. Flute, Celtic Whistles, Fretless Bass
-
Rachel Wilson – Fiddle
-
Billy Hickling – Percussion

Support comes from local country duo John Brady and Les Snaith. John plays slide guitar while Les plays guitar and provides the vocals.

They have a very relaxed style mixed with a wicked sense of humour and cover a wide range of material primarily country.
