Concerts

We present concerts in Saltburn three or four times a year. Generally, our policy is to showcase artists from the North East and Yorkshire although we are not averse to feature those from elsewhere. As we run on a non profit basis we do need to keep costs within sensible boundaries so we do ask that any artists who contact us keep this in mind.

Our concerts will now be held at Saltburn Community Hall in the centre of Saltburn. Tickets for our concerts are priced at £8.00 in advance for members (up to 2 tickets) or £12.00 on the door for non-members. We operate on a not for profit basis in respect of our concerts but you can help us to break even by spreading the word to your friends and buying lots and lots of raffle tickets on the night! Tickets for our concerts can be purchased at Book Corner, Milton St. in Saltburn. Alternatively you can contact us by telephone or email (see the home page) to book tickets which can be paid for on the night of the show, or even better get them from the club on a Monday night at The Marine whilst enjoying the club atmosphere. You can buy online from WeGotTickets through the link below.

Our first concert of the year is on April 11th 2025 and will feature  "Hazjak", a Yorkshire duo comprising of  Steve Chapman Smith and Lynne O'Malley, both well known and respected musicians on the Northern acoustic scene.

Together they play an eclectic style of Roots, Americana and Folk music.

Steve – vocals, guitar, banjo, bouzouki, bass and mandolin.

Lynne – vocals, piano, tenor guitar, banjo, percussion, whistle and harmonica. One of the duo's trademarks is their close harmonies.

Hazjak have released two albums to date -  “Listerville” in December 2020 and "The City Sleeps" in November 2023. Both albums have been received with positive reviews in the music magazines and radio stations.
