Concerts

We present concerts in Saltburn three or four times a year. Generally, our policy is to showcase artists from the North East and Yorkshire although we are not adverse to feature those from elsewhere. As we run on a non profit basis we do need to keep costs within sensible boundaries so we do ask that any artists who contact us keep this in mind.

Our concerts are held at Saltburn Golf Club which has stunning views of Saltburn. It also boasts ample car parking and excellent disability access. Tickets for our concerts are priced at £7.00 in advance for members or £10.00 on the door for non-members. We operate on a not for profit basis in respect of our concerts but you can help us to break even by spreading the word to your friends and buying lots and lots of raffle tickets on the night! Tickets for our concerts can be purchased at Book Corner, Milton St. in Saltburn. Alternatively you can contact us by telephone or email (see the home page) to book tickets which can be paid for on the night of the show, or even better get them from the club on a Monday night at PARLOURS, Saltburn whilst enjoying the club atmosphere.

Steve Dagleish’s intimate brand of folk and blues songs perfectly evokes the delicacy of Jon Martyn and Nick Drake – beautifully played and performed with such a lightness of touch that you are scarcely aware of the gravity of some of the subject matter.

Support was provided by John & Phil Armstrong and Lynda Hardcastle & Alan Rose who stood in at last minute for Beth Burrows who was unwell. .
