We held three concerts during 2023 starting on Friday May 12th with
Iona Lane supported by The Roddy Gordon Band.

We were delighted to welcome Iona to Saltburn as part of her Spring tour. Her debut CD Hallival, inspired by natural landscapes, scientific discoveries, equality, human relationships and the supernatural, all tied together by a strong sense of place and a love for being in wild places, has received critical acclaim. Karine Polwart and Julie Fowlis, amongst others, selected the opening track ‘Western Tidal Swell’ to win Feis Rois’/NatureScots’ In Tune With Nature competition in 2020.

Roddy Gordon, together with Jane are regular visitors to Saltburn Folk Club from their home in Redcar. Roddy's music career dates back to the 1960s and he has performed with a number of big names as well as spending many years gigging in the UK and Australia. www.RoddyGordonBand.com

On Saturday September 30th we welcomed Henwen supported by local singer/guitarists and club regulars John Dunleavy and Ed Mitchell.

Henwen are five women from North Yorkshire who sing stunning contemporary A Cappella - ballads, blues, folk, country, pop, swing and songs they write themselves. They arrange all of their own music and create a unique and powerful sound. To see a review of the concert click here
